A private, beautiful tool for cataloging and remembering the watches you've chosen to live with. For collectors who keep a record, not a flex.
Beautiful tools for people who collect and care for analog things.
We build small, precise iOS apps for watch collectors, film photographers, and the quietly obsessive. Things you can own, for hobbies you already love. Slowly, and on purpose.
Two tools, each with its own discipline.
Complete film photography lifecycle management, from freezer to portfolio. The knowledgeable friend at the camera shop — in your pocket.
What we believe, and practice.
Intentionality
We build for people who chose the analog path on purpose. Collectors, photographers, custodians. Every product serves a decision someone already made.
Craft
Swiss-level design rigor with human warmth. Müller-Brockmann's grid. Dieter Rams' restraint. The kind of care that is invisible until it isn't.
Patience
We grow slowly and build carefully. Ship when it's ready, not when the quarter ends. There is no urgency clock that serves the work.
Respect
For your time, your data, and your expertise. No tracking. No ads. No subscriptions to feelings. Your collection is yours — we are a tool you use to see it better.
Quiet confidence
We don't shout. The work speaks. We believe the right users will recognize what they're looking at when they find it — and we would rather be discovered than announced.
From the studio.
I'm James. I'm a designer in California making tools I wanted to use myself. Lunet is for my watches. Spool is for my film. Both are built in the quiet hours between other work, with the patience the subject deserves.
I don't have investors. I don't have a growth team. I'm not trying to reach you; I'm hoping you'll find me. If either product earns its place on your device the way your watches or cameras earned their place on your shelf, that's the whole point.
Thank you for looking.
